Mallika Paritosh, born in Argentina and currently based in Lisbon, is a poet, philosopher, researcher, and sound work mentor. She is a Philosophy scholar from the University of Buenos Aires, specializing in Tantric philosophy, and a music teacher from the National Conservatory of Buenos Aires in Classical Piano and Music Education. A versatile artist, she is also a composer of meditative music and a facilitator of Meditation and Neo-Tantra.
Over the last 20 years, Mallika has focused her research on the use of sound, dance, and trance in the matrifocal cultures of the Paleolithic era. Her work explores how these ancient traditions are the foundation of a long continuum of wisdom, later expressed in Indian Tantric lineages.
As a musician and dancer, Mallika has performed traditional music and dances in significant cultural scenarios worldwide for over 30 years. Proficient in playing over 45 instruments, she creates immersive soundscapes and workshops across the globe. Her work blends ancient Tantra, shamanism, poetry, sound mysticism, sound art, and visual arts, fostering a unique dialogue between these timeless practices.
